Who are the publishers of Roads 'n Toads?
Alan and Barbara Lidstone are retired computer industry professionals who have been camping
and RVing since the early 1970's. We have been writing about the RV lifestyle since 2000. As East
Coast RVers, most of our travels from Key West to New York, New England, and eastern Canada.
Roads 'n Toads - Your Internet Resource is our website that includes articles, commentary, and
items of interest that have appeared in our 32-page Roads ‘n Toads – RVing in Florida newsletter,
articles written for other RV lifestyle print and Internet publications, and updated material from our

What are Our Interests?
To share our RVing experiences and provide RVers with useful and timely information to get the
most out the RV lifestyle, stretch their dollars, and keep their rigs in good and safe working order.
Where Else Have You Seen Us?
We wrote our first book, RVs - Getting Out and STAYING Out, in Fall 2000, about how to get
started and organized to take extended trips from scratch. The highly informative book was
released by Fulcrum Publishing in September 2001 and is available from the publisher, major
bookstore web sites, book distributors, online RV book sites, and local bookstores.
Alan and Barbara have been writing, publishing, and distributing Roads ‘n Toads – RVing in
Florida since May 2003. The 32-page RV newsletter is distributed free of charge at selected
campgrounds and RV resorts, RV dealers, RV service shops, sports equipment shops, and other
businesses providing goods and services to RVers.
Our individual subscribers stretches from the Florida coast to California to New England.
Alan wrote the Road Scholar column for the five Woodall's Regional Publications from March
2005 through December 2007 and writes the monthly Travel Tech column for the Woodall’s
Diamond Club eNewsletter, recently expanded in content and renamed the Woodall's Monthly
eNewsletter. He also is a contributing RV lifestyle writer for RV View magazine.
Our second RV lifestyle book, The Complete RV Experience, providing all the information RVers
need to know about extended RVing, is awaiting a publishing date. The Complete RV Experience
incorporates the latest information about the RV lifestyle and new products and capabilities for
RVers gleaned from our experiences and more than 210 articles we've written since 2002.
